I think I want to be a child when I grow up.
We experienced the grandchildren yesterday
in a state of pure joy. The kids put together
a party to end all parties and the children
all gave us a lesson in going with the flow,
enjoying the moment. When they were tired,
they slowed down. When they were hungry,
they ate. When they were sleepy, they slept.
And, when they were happy, they were ecstatic.
It was truly a revelation to be experienced.
Oh, to be a kid again . . . and did I mention,
our daughter-in-law R O C K S !!!
child within without
much deserves more attention
no not forgotten
