nice as I'd like to sit out

Ahhhhh, just my special

I so love and honor that

part of my home that

bleeds into the forest! 

I find healing simply 

by observing the beauty

provided by our Mother.

I get that we're all diff.

Some like living in the

midst of a city whilst

others wish to be as 

far away as possible.

There are those who

live in condos, others

in high rises, oceans

and mountains as well.

I find it both amazing

and lovely  . . . all the

different tastes and

enjoyment . . .

Get such a kick out of 

seeing how different

retirees live and play!

One of my oldest pals

travels the world over.

Sometimes on her own

and others with a friend.

Others take short trips

to nearby places. Yet

some spend a lot of

time at malls and stores.

Then there are those of

us who have been there,

done that and now like

to stay at home with

murder mysteries and

eats in bed.

Go figure! Methinks has

to do with dif personality

prefs. Know I'm enjoying

the hell out of my own

end of lifestyle!!!

I do talk to my dad almost

every day. He's who I talk

to in a manner of praying.

I always could talk to him.

Could tell him anything.

who informed me at the

age of 13 that I was to 

be called to the Pantheist

path.

No, I never, ever forget

my dad, not even for a

moment. Still, Memorial

Day simply screams his

absence.

I come from a military

family.

Praise the Universe . . .

they all came home. I

can't even begin to

imagine losing anyone

to war. Such heartache.

Alas, I believe I've sinned

thusly. Afraid of the dark

perhaps. But as one grows

older, we learn to stay the

distance.

Having said that, I'd be the

first to admit the fear, even

terror. A lot of us actually

grow up afraid of the dark!

did. Best to sit tight and

face the music.

I'm at least down to dark 

days rather than dark times.

I've been told, from 

time to time, that I'm 

an eccentric.

I do know my dad was,

but I still have trouble

defining the word.

I've worn naught but

black since I retired. I

have 13 sets of black

so I can change daily.

Not sure if that's crazy

or eccentric. Ha.

Wonder if living happily 

in a 150 year old tiny 

cabin counts?!

Still, I can only imagine

the exhaustion from doling 

out healing whenever and

wherever one can.

I question, do those of us in

I swear I am going to take

a serious look at those who

have helped me on my path,

those who have healed me

when needed.

I say, I am concerned

about the anorexia I

witness in today's stars.

Why is it necessary to

be bone thin? Why is

this the norm of today?

I hear about the hardly

eating, the throwing up,

the fasting . . . not only

NOT healthy, methinks

early death awaits along

with all types of health

issues.

Alas, we need to revisit

our belief systems with

our very messed up view

of beauty . . .

Colorado waits . . .

as the long promised

snow arrives today.

Spring, not winter, 

but here's hoping for

several inches of that

much needed moisture.

We are to be blest with

both rain and snow. I

am vastly concerned 

as not having a proper

winter this year will

affect Colorado's crops

in all areas.

We also supply water

for other states. What

happens when there is

naught to be shared?!

I pray the Universe

enjoyed so much of his

Methinks it suggests there

are difficulties in life that

only love can help us

survive. 

I can sooooo attest to this!

Love has gotten me through

cancer, losing the home my

father built for me, running

away from home, living in

poverty and trying my best

to grow up.

I salute LOVE, honor those

have loved me through the

most difficult times, and

those who love me still . . .

Need to think about this . . .

The people I love come

from all different walks

   -So what if my ups and

       downs make no sense?

I find myself loving

my crone years . . .

I enjoy doing what

ever I feel like doing.

I love living quietly.

I so like the hours I

keep.

Obviously, aging has

its own difficulties. 

Yet, I find both joy and

gratitude to have been

allowed these additional

years of my life.

I look back at each period

of my life. I enjoyed them

all. Most thankful for the

memories.

I find myself thinking

Lovely to be especially

but what moves me are

those little daily acts

reminding me I am

loved by my children.

That phone call out of

the blue, a sweet card in

the mail, an unexpected

gift, an email.

are beyond busy with

their own. They must

feel as I once did . . .

overworked beyond

the pale.

Mother Nature has gifted

us such incredible beauty

today.

The back yard is simply

beyond greeting card 

beautiful!

My guy estimates we

have about 15" and it's

still snowing.

Methinks going back

to bed is a grand idea,

although the fireplace

feels quite alluring. 

Just have to see what

other gifts the Universe

brings today . . .

I have to think about what

Cinco de Mayo means to

me . . .

'Twas the birth of my mom,

without whom I would not

exist.

Added to that . . . the birth

of my daughter in her name.

Obviously, after 20 years in

Mexico, I properly recall the

historical meaning of Cinco

de Mayo.

Having said that . . . 'twill

ever and always be the births

of my mother and daughter

that mean the most to me . . .

Know this;  I'll be celebrating

with boots on . . . make no

mistake!!!

Beltane has finally

arrived! Yayyyyy!

Today we celebrate

the return of the sun

with fire.

Can you imagine it?

homes throughout

the US celebrating

both together and 

apart.

In warmer climes . . .

the children will be

May Pole. Can't you

just see it?!
