It has often been discussed that our proclivity
as humans for living in the past and longing for
the future while entirely dismissing the present
is one of our greatest faults. However, my
yesterday was so delightful, delicious, divine,
that I must beg indulgence to wallow in the
memories for just a tad longer. A day with the
besties where wondrous conversation ensued,
glorious foods were shared, memories cherished
and tears wiped away . . . it doesn't get much
better than that. Praising the gods on bended
knee . . .
friendship most divine
long hoped for much gratitude
a gift of the gods
