Today is Mabon Eve, or if you
prefer, first day of Autumn Eve.
Wondrous things to look forward
to, but already today, the best.
A dear friend of ours brought a
welcoming ceremony for Fall
to the cabin today. 'Twas most
glorious and brought tears to my
eyes more than once.
It is difficult, if not nigh onto
impossible, for me to accept the
oncoming weather of Autumn
and Winter. Still, I would say the
special welcoming ceremonies
truly help.
They remind us of the reason for
their being, their place in this wild,
wild world of ours and how we
can personally benefit from each
season.
Going to make a supreme effort
here to be welcoming rather than
disdainful as these darker, colder
seasons approach.
Feel free to remind me when I get
down and dirty about them . . .
