I so appreciate new
beginnings!
Alas, methinks we tend
to believe this means
January 1st . . .
Not so!
Indeed each new year
gifts us new beginnings.
But, so does each month!
Each week! Each day!
Each hour!
We tend to get boggled
down awaiting those
precious times of new
beginnings.
In thinking about it,
seems to me we should
recognize each and every
day presents us with the
opportunity for new starts!
-If I was rude yesterday,
I will not make this
same mistake today.
-If I offended someone
last week, I must apologize
and make the effort not
to do so again.
-Were I rude, thoughtless,
this past month, I must
make a serious effort not
to be so this month.
So many beginnings, so
little time . . . let's make
that special effort . . .
