I so value and appreciate
I've been given these last
years to share with my
guy at the cabin.
One of the things I am so
enjoying are the odd bits
and pieces we put together
in our old age.
A perfect example . . .
We woke up at midnight
and being both retired
and crazy, my guy said,
"How about a movie and
champagne?" Is it any
wonder I adore him?!
One time he woke me up
in the middle of the night
and said, "Grab your coat
and follow me." He then
proceeded to drive us to
the lake. We spent a while
just holding hands and
looking at the full moon.
Yet another . . . We were
driving down the mountain
and he suddenly slammed
on the brakes and jumped
out of the pickup. He ran
into the field and picked
about a dozen sunflowers.
Back in the pickup, he
handed them to me and
resumed driving.
I give thanks . . . the dessert
years of my life . . . My life,
my guy.
Blessed be!
