Just heard on the news that
today is National Margarita
Day. I'm actually surprised
they just didn't call it . . .
ld's Day!
My fave drink; make no
mistake! I've spent a lot of
years perfecting my own
recipe. Some say I use too
much tequila . . . not sure
there is such a thing.
I've gotten a kick out of
tasting different margs
wherever I go. By that, I'm
speaking of the original.
Not really into different
flavored margs. Rather
seems like a bastardization
of perfection somehow.
Some use Triple Sec, some
do not. Some make their
own base whilst others buy
one of the many choices at
the liquor store.
I think perhaps my own
secret is using loads of lime.
Not thinking there is such
a thing as too much lime!
Such fun! I hadn't planned
on having a tipple today,
but as it's National Margarita
Day, methinks I have no choice!
