She arrived last night . . .
one of my dearests and bests.
I see us now, sitting by the fire
and sharing our hearts out!
The hours passed, the fire died
down, the candles melted, the
wine ended and still we sat and
continued to share.
Seems I write about friendship
several times a week. I've ever
and always valued these sweet
relationships. Still, as one grows
older, they become more precious.
One of the things I want to give
some thought to would be the
deserving of friendship. What
does it take? What is involved
in being a good friend?
Perhaps the main thing would
be, to be there! Be available!!
Be present and counted!!! I do
know that being a good friend
truly matters to me. It matters
to even be friends with our
children.
I'm pondering . . .
