My favorite colors are black, dark black,
pitch black, pastel black, light black,

I believe the phrase, "Black is beautiful!",
was coined by college students back in my
day. This was brought to mind a couple of
days ago when one of my friends came to
lunch. I remember meeting her a few years
ago, talking and laughing. A day or two later,
a gal asked me about the pretty black woman
I was talking to. It occurred to me then, that
I hadn't actually realized she was black. But,
I digress. Me thinks BLACK is the most, MOST
beautiful color in the entire universe. I love it
in people, book covers, clothing, undies . . .
not, that this should all be said in the same
breath. Anyone who knows me, knows that
I always dress in black. I do like to throw on
a shirt with some color in it, just to add a bit
of interest to the equation. Bottom line . . .
