There we were, just
minding our own biz
when we heard this
loud bang. We both
thought someone had
hit a deer.
Unbeknown to us, a
very young new driver
had just taken out the
side of the gar/library.
Praise the Universe
she wasn't hurt, but her
new car was totaled.
Inside the library, books
everywhere, treasures
broken, bookcases down.
Had I started crying, don't
think I'd have ever stopped.
'Tis good we have friends
looking out for us as I'm
wayyyyy tooooo upset to
even think just now.
