haiku hopeful . . .

Dance on broken glass, build castles with shattered dreams and wear your tears like precious pearls. Proud. Strong. Unshakable. ~Anita Krizzan

For what is a poem but a hazardous attempt at self-understanding: it is the deepest part of autobiography. ~Robert Penn Warren

~Griselda,1956 – 2005

About Me

My photo
Linda-Dale Jennings
-I interpreted for Sammy, my special younger brother, from when he was three until he could make himself understood at 11 years of age. -I read everything I deemed helpful from the age of 11 through 12 so that by that time I might wisely choose three standards by which to live my life. -As a result of this arduous study, I embraced Pantheism (the worship of God through nature) with a fervor known only to the very young. -I left home at 14, studied in a different state and supported myself with three jobs while finishing high school in three years. -College, the second greatest gift my mother ever gave me, was my very own ticket to the galaxies. -I lived in Old Mexico from 17-37 and returned to the U.S. to start a new life with my two children. -I started a Pagan coven at 49 and have enjoyed its success for thirteen years. -I teach college level classes in Pagan Studies as well as Interdisciplinary Content Methods in a CSU Master's Degree program the last three years. -I've been married thrice; so many men, so little time!! I read a book a day. I send over 100 pieces of snail-mail a month. -I have recently retired from 38 years of teaching; thus begins Haiku!
