I've been told over and
over and by many that
I am an old soul. Not
sure 'tis so, but do feel
the weight.
As I'm nearer 80 than
70, I find myself truly
slowing down to smell
the roses as they say.
I enjoy wildlife even
more than ever. Like
the rain, love the sun
ups and downs. What
a glorious life!
I pray I am blest with
drawing even closer
to 80 . . .
