"Nothing is more impor-
tant than empathy for
another human being's
suffering. Nothing. Not
career, not wealth, not
intelligence, certainly
not status. We have to
feel for one another if
we're going to survive
with dignity."
~Audrey Hepburn
Obviously, I'm a fan . . .
She had such wisdom
in her soul. Not some-
thing I usually attribute
to the screen.
She makes me wonder . . .
Where is that much
needed empathy today?
I'm old enough that I've
been through the whole
"You", "Us", "We", "Me"
generations, have actually
witnessed the changes
these have brought about.
I'd like to see quite a bit
more inclusion. How to
make it happen?
Methinks it must begin
at home . . .
