Methinks we are drawn
by these thoughts our
entire lives. Yet, perhaps
we don't comprehend
them 'til our elder years.
I find it interesting . . .
how much understanding
and enlightenment we
gain as our own bodies
begin their descent into
age.
Days I'm wishing I could
have both at the same time.
Alas, 'tis not to be. Still . . .
. . . just ever so joyful to
be here, to be alive!
