So enjoy looking ahead,
looking forward, to lovely
moments about to happen.
Today, I get to see an
old student, now a PhD,
maybe even share a marg
or two.
Later, our neighbor besties
are coming over. Such fun!
We chose this corner of the
earth. No regrets. But it is
a solitary place. Add in that
we're now nigh onto a 100
and we only go out once a
month for gros and beers.
So the fact that those who
love us come here to see
us is a gift beyond the pale.
It's strange looking at life
from the other end. Never
thought I'd live this long.
Frankly, I find it rather
interesting.
Find myself pondering
over so many things . . .
