I sooooo honor this
day, this celebration
of freedom.
Alas, we still have a
way to go for absolute
equality. 'Tis something
to strive for; make no
mistake.
A good idea to extend
equality anywhere and
everywhere.
-treat all children alike
-treat fam & friends well
-treat all animalia kindly
I am wowed by the disdain
I see in our world today.
Obviously, we can't mend
all the fences.
Still, if each of us holds
true in our own circles,
equality, kindness, and
decency will prevail.
Pray, may Juneteenth
remind us . . .
