"True wildness is a love
of nature, a delight in
silence, a voice free to
say spontaneous things,
an exuberant curiosity in
the face of the unknown."
~Robert Bly
I imagine even the most
staid of us have a secret
longing to be wild. I sure
do!
I remember in school,
both as a student and as
a teacher, 'twas the wild
ones who got the most
attention and had the
most fun!
My own wild resided
in my intellect, but now
we've come full circle . . .
. . . Methinks 'tis aging
gives us permission to
set ourselves free and
join the wild.
So feel free to copy me . . .
ice cream for breakfast
and champagne in the
middle of the night
when there is blood on
the moon!
