A most wondrous day
was spent yesterday
with our compadres.
So enjoyed every
moment, make no
mistake!
Then, I found out this
early morn that we had
lost a beautiful friend.
Love being nigh onto
a hundred years old!
Nevertheless, seems
the older we are, the
more people we lose.
And yes, I truly value
the time we are gifted
with those we love.
Thinking I'll cherish
every moment spending
with those I love . . .
